TOTIN AROUND
When I left New York, I knew that I wanted to pare down my wardrobe. I knew I had an excessive wardrobe that didn't need to travel 3,000 miles. Packing was going to be my least biggest headache so I got rid of EVERYTHING. People have come over to my new Los Angeles home and noticed, "DANG GIRL. Where are all your clothes from your #profreshselfie?" Ha, I say. Yeah, this girl is down to the bare necessities. Part of the scarceness is due to the fact that I needed quick funds and most of it was because I didn't need 3-4 alpaca cardigans. I mean, c'mon.
But now that I'm down to the bare minimum, I needed to find a way to add items to my wardrobe without actually committing. Yeah, sounds like an impossible project, #amirite? Yeah, well, enter Le Tote. Now, y'all know me. I'm not big on promoting some new stupid app/project/website/grab bag just because. But this new site, I'm totally down for.
Le Tote is this site where you pay $49/month for a tote to show up on your doorstep with literal items you picked on their site. You check it em' out, approve the quality, put the pieces on and you're out the door. THEN.. here's the best freaking part. You can send EVERYTHING BACK and get a brand new tote. Yeah, that's right. It's like returning the items you wore at Target but kept the tags on but brought it back because you just needed it for that one interview... [side glance]. It's basically like Rent The Runway, but for practical, everyday wear. The coolest part ever, that I had to utilize, was you have the option to buy the pieces you truly love. This is just a really easy way to truly fall in love with the pieces you're shopping for without a maje commitment.
