THAT BEIGEY-GRAY KIND OF WORLD

If you didn't know, I moved. No, not to Detroit, like I tricked all of you on Instagram but to my newest apartment, still in Los Angeles (insert laughing/crying emoji face here). With that said, I'm so excited to be redoing my room. In New York, I went dark with dark gray walls, stark white linens and black furniture. There was something about the romanticism of my view of the NYC skyline that matched the look of darkness meets lights. Quite the contrast to the previous Los Angeles bedroom, below.

After moving to Los Angeles, I wanted to have a bit more fun with my apartment, specifically my room. I went full-on mixed prints, lots of color and definitely more feminine. Ideally, I thought my room would feel more light and airy, which it was. But now, with this new place, my room calls for the darkness again. This time, the darkness will come in the decor and linens rather than walls. My current room has this awful baby blue color (kill me) that I can't wait to get rid of. And in the meantime, I'm scouring the internet to find the perfect sex room. I'm kidding. More like, the perfect getaway. Clearly that's what I need after days like today.

Some of my current favorites.
